Seraphina and Seraph Products Care:

Cleaning and Storing

Spot clean, ensuring that you dab and not rub. Remove the satin strap. Every other wear, mix two parts cold or lukewarm water and a gentle detergent in a spray bottle and mist the entire piece. You may gently press on the piece to get the mixture into the fibers, but do not agitate it too much since the fibers are fragile and prone to fuzzing. DO NOT COMPLETELY SUBMERGE IN WATER.

Avoid wearing in rain or snow if possible.

Lay it flat to dry.

Hang on a smooth ended hanger in closet once completely dry or *delicately fold and place in a clean, smooth drawer* (recommended).

Wash the satin strap in a garment bag or pillowcase on cold, Delicate Cycle. Lay flat to dry.

Why does my top fuzz?

Because of the delicate and chunky nature of the fibers used, pilling and fuzzing is prone to happen with friction. Simply remove the fuzzing with your fingertips or lint roller, or CAREFULLY snip them away with embroidery or small scissors.

To smooth the fibers together stroke the piece downward, running your fingers between the rows on the body tube part.

Why are the ends coming untucked?

This is a handmade item and part of the making is having loose ends that require tucking. While some stay hidden others are more persistent. This does not mean your piece is unravelling. Tuck the ends back into place. I do not recommend snipping them if you are not 100% confident.
